A TIME
FOR THANKSGIVING
The
leaves are signaling that Fall is here. It is the time
of year when God pulls out his palette and paints a
beautiful canvas of color in the leaves of His many
variety of trees. What a wonderful time to
acknowledge and honor the magnificence of our heavenly
Father.
We would like to
take this time to thank all of you who have joined our
vision and continue to be a part of spreading God's
Word. To all our Embossing Centers who every month
emboss and send out your Bibles we say, thank
you.
We have grown,
maybe not as fast as we expected, but our vision is
happening. We wanted to share a thank you we received
from the chaplain at one of Arkansas' correctional
facilities.

Bibles in the hands of inmates who really find it hard
to obtain one, plus with the added blessing of embossing
the Bibles with their name."

Christmas Bible Sales
Posters
We
have a new idea just in time for the
holidays. Why not give the gift of truth and
life this Christmas? Why not give a gift that
really keeps on giving? Why not give someone a
Bible with their name embossed on it? Bibles
Cover The Earth is going to have several high
quality posters printed for any of you who want one
to put in your church. The posters will
be asking people to consider buying a Bible through
BiblesCoverTheEarth.com for a friend or loved one and
the name embossing will be free. There will be a
blank box where you can write in your name and
replicated website url as the contact person for your
church. This will coincide with a soon-to-come
change in our website that will make the homepage geared
more towards Bible sales than it currently is.

CHANGE. BUT IN WHAT WAY?
CHANGE. Boy! Has
this been a popular mantra for this year's election
pundits? Change is probably the only constant in this
physical universe. Things most certainly change. We
bear witness to this fact every year when we compare our
Christmas pictures of the family.
There is one thing, however, that never changes and that
is the truth of God's Word. As much as some people would
like to disprove this, they will always fail. Some argue
that God's ways are out of touch with modern
society and that His "truth" is no longer
pertinent to our lives.
I
find it interesting that there is an old Hebrew book called
Jasher. The title of the book means "Book of the
Upright". It was not included in the Old Testament as
inspired but is referred to in some of
the Old Testament writings. In the Book of
Jasher, it goes into much more detail about the Tower
of Babel than our book of Genesis and here is
my point: Jasher shares that the reason for building the
tower was so that they could kill God. The people
were afraid of another world flood so they banded
together to build a tower to heaven so they could kill
God and destroy the chance that there might be another
flood. They wanted freedom from God and His Word.
They wanted change and they were extreme in their
actions to achieve it.
When
Jesus was born, Herod was challenged by the chanting of
"new king." The Word had prophesied hundreds of years
before that the new King would be born in the town of
Bethlehem. Herod's response: He killed all the male infants
of Bethlehem in an attempt to stamp out the Word. He
wanted change from the truth of God's Word and no action
was too extreme.
At
Bibles Cover The Earth, we believe that one thing will
endure for all time and that is the truth of God's Word.
So many people out there have a world view that jobs,
our economy, our political party, or
our belief system is more important than the
truth of God's Word. Here are a few of the truths from
God's Word that are very appropriate for us
today.
There is a way that seems right to a man, but that way
leads to death - Proverbs 14:12.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on
your own understanding - Proverbs 3:5.
Every word of God is pure, He is a shield unto them that
put their trust in Him - Proverbs 30:5.
Be
we [apostles] will give ourselves continually to prayer,
and to the ministry of the word - Acts 6:4.
For
in Him we live, and move, and have our being - Acts
17:28.
And
God breathed into man's nostrils and man became a living
soul - Genesis 2:7.
Man
does not live on bread alone but on every word
that proceeds from the mouth of God - Matthew
4:4.
When we
seek change in our life, in our society, or in our
country, it is important that the change we seek is
in line with the truth of God's Word. When we
don't, no matter how unified (Tower of Babel) we
are or how powerful (Herod) we think we may be, we
will ulitimately fail.
This
is one of the main reasons Bibles Cover The Earth is so
fervent about getting Bibles into the hands of people
everywhere. Without the guidance of the Word and the
Holy Spirit, stupid decisions are made by men that
affect us all. Ignorance of God's ways and His Word
allows the deficiencies in man to emerge which puts
millions of people in harm's way. Jesus said, "I am the
way, the truth, and the life." No matter how much we
want to think differently, this fact will never go away.
I find this is very good news for a world that is
in a constant state of flux - God's Word never
changes. He is the ROCK of
our salvation.
In
the days ahead I can tell you what's coming - more
change. Let's put our confidence in God and
His Word, and not be afraid of the change
that lies ahead. Let's keep working to get a "ROCK"
into the hands of everyone so that they, too, can
have something solid to hold onto.

New Shopping
Cart
Our shopping cart has changed. If you visit
www.BiblesCoverTheEarth.com and click on the Shopping Cart
link, you will notice that now there are just individual
Bibles on the first page you get to. The original two-Bible Packs and
all the accessories such as the plastic case for
embossing type organization are still available by
clicking the links on the left side of the page (in the
“Shopping Category” area). The prices listed are
retail prices available to anyone. If you are an
Embossing Center, be sure to login with your username
and password for discounted wholesale
prices.
As we discussed before, we now have
the King James Version, the New King James Version, the
New International Version (NIV), and the Catholic
Version of the Bible available. If you have a
want or need for a different version that you would like
to see offered, just email us. We should be
able to offer most any version once we have enough
requests for it.
Notice also that the Bibles are now
offered as individual items instead of the Bible Pack
idea that was the only option before. Now shoppers can
purchase any quantity instead of being limited to the
two-per-pack.
For you Qualified Embossing Centers
out there, please note that the original Bible Packs
have a Commissionable Value (C.V.) of 60. Sixty C.V. per
monthly cycle is still required to be active in the
Compensation Plan.
All of our current Bible versions, as individual
Bibles, have a C.V. of 30. In short, this just means that to be active, you
can either stay with the monthly Bible Pack (which has
its C.V. equal to 60) or purchase at least two of the
individual Bible versions (i.e. 30 C.V. + 30 C.V. =
total 60
C.V.).

Prayer For Your
Geneaology
On the back of your instruction booklet is a
prayer for your genealogy. God can only build this
business and we can only succeed if we are praying
for ourselves, our geneaology, and the company.
Please either make a copy of the back of the
instruction booklet or tear off the back and stick
it on your refrigerator where you will be reminded
every day to pray. There is truly strength in
corporate prayer. |
