Prisoners Still
Asking For Bibles
We have sent
over 175 Bibles to the Correctional
Units at Pine Bluff, Tucker, Newport and
Texarkana. There are still many inmates who
are asking for an embossed Bible. Please
help us meet this need. If you would like
to donate a Bible to one of these inmates,
e-mail and ask for a name. Bible

President's
Corner
by Brent Holt
As we
begin our second year in business, I’ve been thinking
about some of Bibles Cover The Earth’s strong
points.
In
our fast paced culture, with our need for immediate
gratification, it is easy to get de-motivated when we
have to crawl before we walk or run. It’s easy to
think that it might not be worth it. I’m reading a
book right now that talks about the theme of our modern
American culture.
Everything is about the individual – “I” is the
center of every question and every answer. It is a
worldview that influences everything we think and
do. Believe
it or not, it even affects our “religion”. Sundays become
about whether or not I enjoyed the
service and the music. Prayer is about
what I want
or need from God.
Even good works are often done so I can somehow
please God and get me into
heaven.
Scripture reveals that Jesus certainly didn’t
share this modern worldview. He was
definitely not self-oriented. He did only what
the Father wanted Him to do, even to the point of laying
down His life.
I [pathetically] even have a hard time just
laying down the TV remote control. Scripture says
that God demands the perfection of Jesus. Our “I” oriented
way of thinking quickly falls short. Praise God that
He has provided salvation and hope through Jesus. Whether
you are new to the program or have been with us from the
beginning, I challenge you to consciously put aside the
“self”-oriented way of thinking and be “us”-minded; “Us”
being your fellow Christians and the lost and
unsaved.
And herein lies the strong point of Bibles Cover
The Earth and what sets it apart from other things that
may vie for your time and effort. Our product is
strong. The
strongest.
It will always be needed. If you approach this business with that in mind
while putting the rest of humanity first and the “self”
last, you will succeed [see Mark9:33-35].

Bible Verse of the Month
Consider the ravens; for
they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn;
and God feeds them. How much more are you
better than the fowls? Luke

Our company phone number is

The First
Year!
Bibles
Cover The Earth is celebrating
its first year anniversary. It’s hard
to believe that it has already been a year since our
launch date on March 7th,
2008. So much has
happened in just a short period of time and we’re just
getting started!
For
those who may be “out of the loop” and those who may be
new to the website or program, let’s recap some of the
accomplishments we give God glory for this last
year.
-March 2008 – The
Bibles Cover The Earth program launched with our
original website going live. The look of the
website has changed twice since then and continues to
get new visitors almost every day. -Over 40
people have joined the Bibles Cover The Earth
program. -Over $2300
has been donated to various charities and organizations
that are actively out doing the work of the
Kingdom of
God. -Approximately
475
Bibles have been sent out through the
program.
Around 175 of those Bibles have been sent to the
prison systems in
Arkansas
with the name of the requesting prisoner on the cover of
each Bible.
Several of the inmates have written letters
expressing their gratitude.
All of
you who are a part of Bibles Cover The Earth are helping
this to happen!
We serve a big God and we know God has big plans
for this program in the future. Galatians 6:9
says, “Let us not lose heart in doing what is good, for
in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.” Let us not
grow weary.
In this upcoming year, and in the years to come,
Bibles Cover The Earth will continue to grow and change
but we will not cease in our mission to help Christians
fund doing the work of the
Kingdom of
God
and
working to see a Bible in the hands of every man, woman
and child who wants to know the truth.

A VERY GOOD
OPPORTUNITY
As everyone that reads this newsletter knows, our
vision is two-fold:
1.
To get a Bible into the hands of every
person who wants one
2.
To provide extra revenue for anyone who
wants to spread the Gospel
Because of the present state of our economy, I
would like to discuss the second part of our
vision.
Many businesses are closing which results in many
people losing their jobs. The number of lay-offs and
people out of work is staggering and the number
continues to grow each month. The amount of money being
paid out for unemployment is causing many state
governments to struggle financially. While this is very
sad and disheartening, it allows us to maybe add a third
aspect to our vision:
3.
To help people through the hard economic
times
With so many people looking for work, the
opportunity to share Bibles Cover The Earth grows and
becomes a wonderful way to financially help people.
Every one of us could use some extra money, but
sometimes that’s not enough of a motivation to talk to
folks about making extra money by using a multi-level
marketing plan. But, during these times of high
unemployment many people are looking for any means by
which to supplement or provide extra income. This could
be a very good time to share Bibles Cover The Earth.
A good tip is to listen. Listen to what people
are saying. Somewhere in the conversation the
opportunity to share BCTE’s great program may arise.
Things are changing and many people are
being forced by circumstances to look beyond the
normal routine. In some ways it will be good because it
will cause many of us to re-evaluate our lives in relation to
God’s plan and vision. The Body of Christ in many ways
has lost the drive and motivation to further the work of
God’s Kingdom. God has always had a way of bringing His
children back to center.
Our primary desire at Bibles Cover The Earth is
to get the Bibles out to those who want one, but a very
good opportunity to financially help those around us may
be here. Let us seize the day. After all, it gives us
the opportunity to bless a lot more
people.

God Bless
America
We have a great country, but at present it is
suffering. We all need to do what we can to support our
liberty. Many times we take our freedom for granted and
when we do, our liberty is always challenged. We must
all do our part to make sure that our rights and
freedoms are always preserved. One can tell by the buzz
on the internet that many are concerned about the
direction our nation is taking. Here is a website that
was recently sent to us. It was inspiring enough to
share with our EC’s. Take a look.

Prayer For Your
Geneaology
On the back of your instruction booklet is a
prayer for your genealogy. God can only build this
business and we can only succeed if we are praying
for ourselves, our geneaology, and the company.
Please either make a copy of the back of the
instruction booklet or tear off the back and stick
it on your refrigerator where you will be reminded
every day to pray. There is truly strength in
corporate prayer. |
