Bibles Cover The Earth makes a donation to
the Wycliffe Foundation

Bibles Cover The
Earth is pleased to announce that this months donation
has been made to the Wycliffe
Foundation. This foundation translates the
Bible into the native language of different groups of
people around the world and states the following as
their vision: "Wycliffe’s vision is to see the Bible
accessible to all people in the language they understand
best."
Here is an exerpt from their website (www.Wycliffe.org) :
They are
searching for life that can only be found in Jesus. God
speaks through His Word to communicate His character,
His promises, and His invitation to love and know and
serve Him. How can people know Him when they can’t
clearly understand the words they hear or read—or worse,
when they have no Scriptures available to them at
all? More than 2,200 language communities still do not have true access to
even one verse of Scripture. They need to experience
God’s Word in their heart language.
It’s
true that some minority language groups are bilingual,
and they can read the Bible in their second or even
third language, but it’s hard to connect with the
message when it’s not in their mother tongue. It’s like
trying to eat soup with a fork, or trying to read by
moonlight. It might be possible, but not very effective,
and certainly not very inviting. Bible translation in
the heart language invites people to truly encounter
God’s truth.
Some
communities have never heard about Jesus at all. They
have absolutely no access to God’s Word. For them, Bible
translation can mean the difference between eternity
with God and eternity without
Him.
We think that their vision and the vision
of BCTE coincides well.

EVERY EMBOSSING
CENTER IS A BUSINESS
PART TWO
by Dennis
Holt
Last
month we talked about the power of leverage as being a
Kingdom principle that can help us to become more
weathly and also to empower us to do more for the
Kingdom and at the same time learn how the Kingdom
functions.
This
month I want to discuss the power of giving as a
business principle. Giving is one of the most basic
principles of the Kingdom.
For God
so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son...
John 3:16.
Why did
God give His Son? Before you answer, first realize that
God uses Kingdom principles every time He does
something. Now let's finish the verse.
For God
so loved the world that He gave His only begotten
Son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish,
but have everlasting life.
I want
you to notice what is called a cause-effect statement
within this verse. A cause-effect statement is this: If
you do something, then something will result from your
doing it. Example: If you believe in Jesus, the Son of
God; then you will not perish but have everlasting life.
The cause is believing, the effect is everlasting life.
One cannot be had without the other.
This
cause-effect statement is why Jesus used farming in so
many of His parables. A farmer would not expect to reap
if he did not sow. That would be silly. Look at this
parable:
And
Jesus said, So is the Kingdom of God, as if a man
should cast seed into the ground - Mark 4:26.
This is
the cause part of the statement. The Kingdom is like
putting seed into the ground. There is a giving taking
place here. This farmer is putting
something (seed) into something (ground) that
has been designed to accept and promote the giving
(seed).
The next verses explain the effect statement but in a
way that seems magical. These verses are trying to
explain the supernatural effect of the Kingdom on
the "cause" of sowing. Read carefully.
And
should sleep, and rise night and day; and the
seed should spring and grow up, he knows not how.
For the earth brings forth fruit of herself; first the
blade , then the ear, after that the full corn in
the ear - Mark 4:28.
Here is
the cause-effect of these verses. The man gave something
(seed) to the earth (Kingdom), but once it was given, it
began a mystical life of its own which could not be seen
by the sense of sight. Still the process was working and
in its own time, produced a harvest (effect) that could be seen with the
sense of sight.
This has been called by many, the power of "seedtime and
harvest" with seedtime being the cause and harvest being
the effect.
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest...shall
not cease - Genesis 8:22.
We could
paraphrase this verse this way: While the earth remains
cause and effect shall not cease. This principle is the
primary way of the Kingdom to gain wealth. Notice I said
of the Kingdom. It is the direct opposite of this
present worldly system. This is important because Bibles
Cover The Earth's program is soley based on this
principle. At present this is one reason why it is
so hard for people to understand. Let me
explain.
Give and
it shall be given unto you; goodmeasure, pressed down
and shaken together, and running over, shall men give
unto your bosom. For with the same measure that you mete
withal it shall be measured back to you again - Luke
6:38.
What is the cause here? What is the effect? What does
the word, it, mean? Let's assume it means money,
but it could mean anything. As we give money (the cause)
what is the effect? Do we get the same amount back? Why?
Because the supernatural affect of the Kingdom causes IT
to grow exponentially just like the farmer's seed that
was planted in the earth. But here is the clencher. How
is the money going to come back to us? Is God going to
allow it to drop from the sky? Will He allow us to win
the lottery? Will our rich aunt die and leave us
billions? That could happen but this verse says that
men will give it back to us? This has powerful
connotations. What causes any business to be successful?
Men or women who buy the product or use the service. The
more this happens the more successful we become. There
is no greater example of this in my mind than
multi-level marketing, but it goes even deeper. Why
wouldn't God use the lottery to pay off your church?
Because it goes against the principles of the
Kingdom.
A faithful
man shall abound with blessings: but he that makes haste
to be rich shall not be innocent - Proverbs
28:29.
Wealth gotten
by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by
labor shall increase - Proverbs 13:11.
Why do people who win the lottery have trouble hanging
on to their money? Because they do not have the wisdom
to handle wealth.
There is
treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the
wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up - Proverbs
21:20.
At
Bibles Cover The Earth, we consider each Embossing
Center as a Kingdom business that has the potential to
function in the ways of the Kingdom. To do this takes
wisdom and understanding. One who is faithful in
learning about the Kingdom of God, its King, and the way
in which it functions will be rewarded with wealth that
will not be easily lost. That's why we do not focus on
the amount of money that can be made by each Embossing
Center. Although it is substantial, if each
Embossing Center does not have the proper understanding
of its mission then we become just another MLM
company trying to entice people to become rich with our
program. Our mission will always remain,
To work hard to see the Kingdom of God come to this
earth,
and in the
process, teach every person how to inherit it and
to become well aquainted with its fundamentals and
principles.
When
people look at the program of Bibles Cover The Earth
what do they see? Do they see the opportunity to grow in
knowledge of the Kingdom? Do they see the opportunity to
learn the power of cause and effect? Do they see the
potential to be blessed by others by being a blessing
themselves? Do they see the opportunity to give and have
men give back to them pressed down, shaken together, and
running over?
Probably
not, because the lord of this world's system has trained
us to be skeptical and untrusting. We have all
experienced that. But, I hope with this newsletter we
are all learning that there is something much more
important going on here than sponsoring people. If that
is our focus then we are in for some major
disappointment. If, however, we focus on the vision our
excitement will cause people to want to join. Let me
encourage you with this thought. God's Kingdom is coming
to this earth. That's a fact. It's
in His Word. Every person on this earth right
now is either part of the problem or part of the
solution. If you are part of Bibles Cover
The Earth, you are becoming a part of the solution.
How do I know? Read Romans, Chapter Ten, verses 14 - 18.
I especially like verse 18. That verse is the cause.
